Dhruv Jurel notched his second Test century on the second day of India’s ongoing match against Sri Lanka at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo on Monday.

Jurel was at 95 when rain stopped play for more than an hour. But soon after the game resumed, he quickly completed the five runs to reach the milestone.
Batting at number seven, Jurel is the second batter after Hardik Pandya to score a century batting at that position or lower for India in Sri Lanka.
Jurel’s only prior Test century came against West Indies in Ahmedabad in October 2025.
