\u201cWith this victory, India also became the first team to win the ICC Men\u2019s T20 World Cup three times, further cementing their place among the most successful teams in the history of the format,\u201d Saikia stated.<\/p>\n
Sportstar <\/i>understands that each of the 15 players in the squad will receive Rs. 6 crore, while the remaining Rs. 41 crore will be distributed among the coaching staff and other support staff members.<\/p>\n
Following India\u2019s triumphant campaign in 2024, the BCCI had announced a bonus of Rs. 125 crore, with each player receiving Rs. 5 crore.<\/p>\n
Earlier on Monday, BCCI president Mithun Manhas had praised the team for becoming the first side to defend the T20 World Cup and the first to win the tournament on home soil.<\/p>\n
