Cricket Australia has confirmed that the Australian men\u2019s cricket team will visit Zimbabwe for three ODIs in September in order to aid its preparations for the 2027 ODI World Cup.<\/p>\n

It will mark Australia\u2019s first tour of Zimbabwe since 2014, when it took part in a triangular series along with South Africa.<\/p>\n

All three matches will take place in Harare, and will be directly before Australia\u2019s multi-format tour of South Africa. The first ODI will be on September 15, followed by matches of September 18 and 20.<\/p>\n

Zimbabwe won the last ODI between the two sides back in 2022, winning by three wickets in Townsville to secure a consolation victory in a three-match ODI series in Australia.<\/p>\n

It also won the most recent meeting between the two sides at the T20 World Cup, surprising the 2021 champion by 23 runs.<\/p>\n

Zimbabwe will co-host the 2027 ODI World Cup along with South Africa and Namibia, the first time the tournament will be played on African soil since 2003.<\/p>\n
