2025 will be an important year for Android and Google’s ecosystem, especially due to the increased use of AI and the early launch of Android 16. Last year, Google emphasized on making its system smarter and user-centric. Android 16 was released only on June 10, 2025, whereas usually it was released in August or September. Its purpose was to create better coordination with new smartphones. A new design based on personal expressions and better privacy features, such as scam detection, were added to it.<\/p>\n

Gemini came with features like Live Camera and Screen Sharing, through which AI can give suggestions by understanding the screen and surrounding things. Through Search Live, users can ask questions by recognizing things from the camera, and Google Home also became smarter.<\/p>\n

Gemini AI became an important part of Android this year. Through features like Agent Mode, it can complete the work on its own. Smart features in Gmail and Docs also improved, and new AI models made it easier to create images and videos from text. Additionally, Google made changes to the update system.
