Kolkata Knight Riders batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi on Sunday was dismissed for obstructing the field against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana International Cricket Stadium.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old is now the fourth batter to be given out obstructing the field in IPL after Yusuf Pathan, Amit Mishra, and Ravindra Jadeja.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred on the final ball of the fifth over of the match. Batting on nine from seven balls, Raghuvanshi punched the ball to mid-on and set off for a single before turning back midway. In his attempt to make it back to his crease, Raghuvanshi moved from the centre to one side of the pitch and was struck by the incoming throw.<\/p>\n

Rishabh Pant and LSG appealed for obstructing the field, and upon review, third umpire Rohan Pandit determined that the batter had changed his running path to get back and intentionally intercepted the ball.<\/p>\n

Raghuvanshi was visibly upset following the decision, striking the boundary cushion as he exited the field of play.<\/p>\n
