X Corp has launched its new messaging app XChat for iPhone and iPad users. This is a separate messaging app, which is specially designed for private chatting. The company says that it offers features like end-to-end encryption, no ads and no tracking, due to which the privacy of the users remains better.<\/p>\n

The most important thing about XChat is that it connects directly to your existing X (formerly Twitter) account. That means you do not need to create a new account or add contacts separately. You can start chatting directly with people in your existing X network.<\/p>\n

If you want to download XChat on iPhone or iPad,<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. First of all open the App Store.<\/li>\n
  2. After this, go to the search tab and type ‘XChat’.<\/li>\n
  3. Then select X Corp’s published app.<\/li>\n
  4. Now tap on the ‘Get’ button and complete the installation with the help of Face ID, Touch ID or Apple ID password. The app will be installed on your device within a few minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    It is worth noting that XChat will work only on iPhone with iOS 26.0 or above and iPad with iPadOS 26.0 or above.<\/p>\n

    After installation, open the XChat app and login with your X account. After this you will have to set a security PIN, so that your chats will remain secure. If necessary, permissions like contacts access may also have to be given.<\/p>\n

    Many special features have been provided in XChat. There is an option of disappearing messages in it, that is, messages can disappear on their own after some time. You can also edit or delete messages. Large photos, videos and files can also be sent easily. Group chats facility is also available.<\/p>\n

    Apart from this, screenshot blocking feature is also provided, due to which your private chats remain more secure.<\/p>\n
