Shubham Dubey and Donovan Ferreira combined to outdo Marcus Stoinis\u2019 stunning knock as Rajasthan Royals broke Punjab Kings\u2019 unbeaten streak in IPL 2026 here at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Royals needed 72 runs in the last six overs and finished the 223-run chase with four balls to spare and six wickets in hand to register their sixth win of the season.<\/p>\n

The pitch assisted the slower bowlers, and once Yuzvendra Chahal and Harpreet Brar had finished their quota by the 14th over, Dubey and Ferreira got RR back in the game by making use of the pace.<\/p>\n

While Dubey remained unbeaten on 31 off 12 balls, hitting three fours and two sixes, Ferreira slammed 56 not out off 26 deliveries, finishing the match with a six.<\/p>\n

Chahal removed Dhruv Jurel (16), Yashasvi Jaiswal (51), and Riyan Parag (29). At the same time, Brar conceded only 25 in his four overs to give Punjab control after RR openers once again displayed a fearless approach to slam 84 in the PowerPlay.<\/p>\n

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi whipped five sixes en route to a 16-ball 43, showing off his smooth wrists and bat swing in front of a partisan home crowd. Jaiswal also sent the ball seven times to the fence and took the aerial route once to put pressure on the bowlers.<\/p>\n

A strong start and a finish made sure poor batting in the middle overs didn\u2019t hurt the Royals later.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Stoinis\u2019 quickfire half-century late in the innings powered PBKS to an imposing total.<\/p>\n
