At the heart of his roadmap lies a commitment to streamlining cricketing operations and ensuring fairness in selections across all age groups \u2013 an enduring bone of contention in the region.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m a firm believer that cricket should be separated from administration and all the other related matters. Cricket should be run with players being the priority, and my job is to look after players\u2019 welfare and make Hyderabad a powerhouse of domestic cricket,\u201d Rayudu said.<\/p>\n<p>The former India international did not shy away from addressing deeper concerns, identifying eliminating corruption as an immediate priority.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA player contract system, like what the Mumbai Cricket Association recently announced, is in the pipeline. Drawing from his own journey, the 40-year-old also stressed the importance of open trials to unearth raw talent and create equal opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, HCA Secretary M. Jeevan Reddy revealed that the association is actively working to expand its footprint into rural regions, with infrastructure development taking center stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMahabubnagar and Karimnagar have new stadiums. Apart from these two, we also acquired a ground in Nizamabad. We are also in discussion for land acquisition in Khammam, Warangal and Nalgonda. It should be finalised in the next two or three months,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He also announced that Retd.
