Honda is preparing to launch the facelift model of its popular sedan City in the Indian market. The spy images and the uncovered model that arrived at the dealerships just before the launch in May 2026 have completely exposed the new design and features of the car. The new Honda City will now come with a more aggressive and premium look, which will compete with competitive cars like Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia.<\/p>\n
The updated front fascia, advanced technology and long-sought features like ventilated seats and 360 degree camera make it a strong contender in the segment. By maintaining the 4.58 meter length, Honda has tried to keep the sedan relevant in the SUV dominated market. Prices are expected to start from around Rs 12.5 lakh. The front of the 2026 Honda City Facelift is completely new. It will get slim LED headlamps with full-wide LED light bar, revised bold grille, new bumper and cleaner air intake design. Fog lamps have been removed and given a modern look. Gloss black alloy wheels and blacked-out tail lamps will be seen on the sides. Overall the silhouette will remain the same, but will give a more sporty and premium feel.<\/p>\n

The cabin has a large 10.25 inch floating touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, blue ambient lighting and soft-touch materials. Front ventilated seats are being included for the first time, which will prove to be very useful in the Indian summer. A dedicated button for 360 degree camera is also shown near the steering. Features and safety<\/h3>\n
New features include 360 \u200b\u200bdegree camera, ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto-Apple CarPlay, connected car technology and large touchscreen. Honda Sensing ADAS suite can also be found in higher variants. Strengthening the safety, Honda Sensing (Level 2 ADAS) will be available with Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking etc. Standard features will include features like multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, VSA, rear camera, parking sensors and ISOFIX. 360 camera will provide additional security.<\/p>\n
Engine and Mileage<\/h3>\n
There is no major change in the engine. Its 1.5 liter i-VTEC petrol engine (approximately 121 PS power) will come with 6-speed manual or CVT transmission. The hybrid e:HEV variant will also continue, producing 126 PS. Talking about mileage, the petrol variant can give 12-15 kmpl in the city and 16-18 kmpl on the highway, while the hybrid will be more efficient.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
