Kolkata Knight Riders\u2019 all-important clash against Mumbai Indians at Eden Gardens in Kolkata looks set to be disrupted by rain.<\/p>\n

A washout on Wednesday night significantly reduces KKR\u2019s chances of completing its improbable turnaround to qualify for the final four of the tournament.<\/p>\n

If today\u2019s match is washed out, KKR will move up to seventh with 12 points, level with Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings. However, it will still trail CSK on Net Run Rate.<\/p>\n

It will also mean that the maximum number of points that KKR can reach is 14, level with Rajasthan Royals in fourth. It will therefore be knocked out as the first criteria of tie-breaking is number of wins (six wins for KKR to RR\u2019s seven).<\/p>\n

RR remains the most likely team to progress, and will qualify if it wins its final match against Mumbai Indians on Sunday.<\/p>\n
