Gujarat Titans handed Chennai Super Kings its heaviest defeat in terms of runs in IPL history at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

The 89-run loss ended CSK\u2019s chances for the Playoffs, making it three years in a row that the five-time champion has failed to make it to the knockout stages.<\/p>\n

CSK\u2019s previous biggest defeat before today came in the 2013 season, when the side lost by 60 runs against Mumbai Indians.<\/p>\n
