Legendary Sachin Tendulkar led the cricketing world\u2019s outpouring of awe and adulation after teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed a 29-ball 97 against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL Eliminator, lauding the left-hander\u2019s \u201coutstanding bat swing\u201d.<\/p>\n

Sooryavanshi\u2019s blitz, during which he broke Chris Gayle\u2019s record of most sixes (59) in an IPL edition, helped Rajasthan Royals march into the IPL Qualifier 2 with a 47-run win over SRH. The 15-year-old now has 65 sixes in this iteration of the league.<\/p>\n

Former all-rounder Suresh Raina said cricketers like Sooryavanshi ensured that Indian cricket was in safe hands.<\/p>\n

Former West Indies pacer Ian Bishop termed Sooryavanshi\u2019s quality of strokes as rare.<\/p>\n

Former India skipper Anil Kumble was astonished by Sooryavanshi\u2019s ability to stay away from pressure.<\/p>\n

In just 29 balls, he completely changed the direction of the game and put Sunrisers Hyderabad under immense pressure right from the start,\u201d Kumble said on the show.<\/p>\n
