Google has introduced many new features of Android 17 during the Android Show IO Edition before Google IO 2026. This time the company has paid special attention to AI, security, content creation and digital well-being to improve the user experience.<\/p>\n

In Android 17, all emojis are being given a new and more expressive design. Instead of the old flat design, there will now be a more detailed and realistic look, which will further increase the fun of chatting.<\/p>\n

‘Pause Point’ will reduce screen time<\/strong>
Google has introduced a new feature called ‘Pause Point’, which will help in keeping users away from distracting apps. When you mark an app as distracting, a countdown, reminder, and breathing exercise will be shown before opening it.<\/p>\n

Screen Reactions feature<\/strong>
A new screen reaction feature will be available in Android 17, which will record the screen and front camera simultaneously. This will be especially useful for users who make reaction videos on YouTube and Instagram.<\/p>\n

Quick Share now with iPhone too<\/strong>
Now Android users will be able to easily share files with iPhone through QR code. There will also be better connectivity between brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo and Vivo. In the coming time, Quick Share integration can also be seen in WhatsApp.<\/p>\n

Easy migration from iPhone to Android<\/strong>
Switching from iPhone to Android will be easier than ever in Android 17. Users will be able to transfer contacts, messages, passwords, eSIM and even home screen layout.<\/p>\n

Big role of AI features<\/strong>
Google has introduced ‘Rambler’ feature for Gboard, which improves voice typing and produces clean text by removing unnecessary words.<\/p>\n

Apart from this, with the ‘Create My Widget’ feature, users will be able to create custom widgets by just writing text.<\/p>\n

Strong improvement in security
<\/strong>Features like better malware detection, remote biometric lock in case of theft, scam protection and PIN limit have been included in Android 17, which will keep users’ data more secure.<\/p>\n
