Instagram users will no longer be able to use end-to-end encrypted direct messages (DMs), as the company has officially discontinued this privacy-focused feature. This decision is completely contrary to the old strategy of Meta, in which the company was talking about making encryption mandatory on all its platforms.<\/p>\n
