Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan will present the Revised Budget<\/a> for the 2026-27 fiscal in the Kerala Legislative Assembly at 9 a.m. today (June 19).<\/p>\n

The budget will also be the first of the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) government which came to power in Kerala in May after a landslide victory in the April 9 Assembly polls.<\/p>\n

Mr. Satheesan\u2019s presentation will be keenly watched for what it has to say about course corrections in Kerala\u2019s fiscal policy, additional revenue mobilisation, and, among other things, the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) and pay revision.<\/p>\n
