The Adani Group is taking three foundational steps to build the organisation\u00a0that will execute its vision\u00a0over the next decade, including moving non-core activities to its Global Capacity Centres (GCCs) or third parties, said Chairman Gautam Adani while addressing shareholders at Adani Enterprises Ltd\u2019s Annul General Meeting on Wednesday (June 24, 2026).\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cFirstly, we are simplifying\u00a0the way we work. We are putting in place\u00a0a three-layer structure\u00a0across both\u00a0our headquarters and our sites\u00a0to reduce bureaucracy, sharpen accountability\u00a0and bring decisions\u00a0closer to execution,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery role, every process\u00a0and every layer must add value. Non-core activities\u00a0will move\u00a0either to our GCCs\u00a0or to nominated partners,\u201d he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Second, the Group will change the way it works with contractors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe see\u00a0them\u00a0as long-term partners\u00a0in nation-building. We will build deeper, more stable partnerships\u00a0where their growth\u00a0is supported, their margins\u00a0are protected\u00a0and their interests\u00a0are aligned with ours\u00a0to help us deliver projects\u00a0with greater speed, quality\u00a0and ownership,\u201d Mr Adani said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Thirdly the Group is placing\u00a0worker-dignity\u00a0at the heart\u00a0of its transformation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAcross\u00a0our own\u00a0and contractor workforce\u00a0of nearly 4\u00a0lakh\u00a0people, almost 85%\u00a0are people\u00a0who work on the ground\u00a0at our sites. They\u00a0are the people\u00a0who turn our plans\u00a0into reality. And we\u00a0are committed to ensuring\u00a0that every\u00a0worker\u00a0is treated\u00a0with dignity,\u201d he emphasised.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis means\u00a0clean living conditions, hygienic food, access to medical support, safe working environments\u00a0and fair wages\u00a0paid on time,\u201d he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Commenting on FY 25-26, he said the Group during the year made\u00a0a record capital investment\u00a0of more than\u00a0\u20b91.5 lakh crore\u00a0in hard infrastructure.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTo put\u00a0that\u00a0in perspective, this represented\u00a0over 30%\u00a0of India\u2019s total\u00a0new\u00a0private-sector capital expenditure\u00a0for the year,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor us, this\u00a0is more than\u00a0a financial number. It is a statement of belief\u00a0and there can be\u00a0no stronger testimony\u00a0to our commitment\u00a0to nation-building\u00a0than the scale at which\u00a0we continue to invest\u00a0in the infrastructure\u00a0that will power\u00a0India\u2019s next chapter,\u201d he stated.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u200bStating that\u00a0the theme\u00a0of his address\u00a0this year\u00a0focuses on\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Accelerating Infrastructure, Leveraging Intelligence, he said these were no\u00a0longer\u00a0two separate priorities.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are\u00a0the twin global engines\u00a0that must shape\u00a0India\u2019s strength, secure\u00a0India\u2019s sovereignty\u00a0and accelerate\u00a0India\u2019s journey to becoming\u00a0one of the defining powers\u00a0of this century,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The first engine, infrastructure, is the roads, ports, airports, transmission lines, power plants, renewable parks, gas networks, logistics platforms, cement capacity, water systems\u00a0and industrial ecosystems\u00a0that make\u00a0national growth possible, he pointed out.<\/p>\n

The second engine, intelligence, is\u00a0data centres,\u00a0the\u00a0use of AI, automation, predictive systems, digital platforms, real-time analytics\u00a0and machine-led\u00a0decision support\u00a0to make\u00a0every one of these assets\u00a0more responsive, he stayed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cInfrastructure\u00a0gives a nation\u00a0muscle. Intelligence\u00a0gives\u00a0a nation\u00a0mastery.\u00a0And, today,\u00a0the two\u00a0are inseparable,\u201d Mr. Adani emphasised.<\/p>\n

He said Adani Group is now\u00a0one of the very few\u00a0global companies\u00a0that\u00a0are \u201cnot\u00a0reacting\u00a0to the future\u00a0but are prepared for it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact is that\u00a0we have been positioning\u00a0for this day for years. We saw early\u00a0that the world was entering\u00a0a new era, one where\u00a0geopolitical\u00a0faultlines\u00a0would deepen, supply chains\u00a0would fragment,\u00a0and\u00a0energy security would return\u00a0as a strategic priority,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe saw that\u00a0the race for technological leadership\u00a0and sovereignty\u00a0would be constrained\u00a0not by ambition, but\u00a0by infrastructure,\u201d he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Towards it\u2019s long term vision the Group, he said, would enable\u00a0India\u2019s infrastructure-led growth, integrate\u00a0AI with physical assets at scale, support\u00a0energy security and supply chain resilience and bet\u00a0on AI amplifying India\u2019s 1.4 billion population into a growth multiplier.<\/p>\n

He said the Group is building a data centre platform targeting 3 GW capacity by 2030. Adani Power with a capex of \u20b92 lakh crore is targeting 45 GW thermal capacity by FY32. In nuclear energy via Adani Atomic Energy the Group plans 10 GW capacity by 2035.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
