This launch will expand Mini in the Indian premium SUV market. In the market, this SUV will compete with competitors like BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Audi Q3.<\/p>\n<p>Compared to previous models, it is more practical, spacious and performance-oriented. Local production will not only reduce the price but will also improve parts availability and service. While maintaining Mini&#8217;s special &#8216;Go-Kart Feeling&#8217; driving experience, it can also prove to be perfect as a family SUV. Let&#8217;s take a look at its design and engine-performance details.<\/p>\n<h2>Design<\/h2>\n<p>The design of the new Mini Countryman C reflects the brand&#8217;s classic styling with a modern touch. At the front, round LED headlamps, large square grille and upright nose give it a strong look. The profile features a boxy silhouette, flat roofline, upright stance and squared wheel arches, which provide more space and better proportions. Long wheelbase increases interior space. The LED taillamps at the rear have a modern signature, the clean tailgate and minimal detailing make it look premium. The 19-inch Kaleido spoke wheels and available colors like Smokey Green, British Racing Green and Nanuq White make it attractive. Overall, it is more SUV-like and has more road presence than the previous models.<\/p>\n<h3>interior<\/h3>\n<p>The cabin is minimalist and contemporary. It has the world&#8217;s first 9.4-inch circular OLED display, which runs on MINI Operating System 9. It works as both infotainment and instrument cluster. The leather-free upholstery is made from Vescin (recycled high-quality textile), providing both premium feel and sustainability. The 2-spoke steering wheel, improved seating position and increased space increase leg room and headroom for the rear occupants. Panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting and clean layout make the cabin luxurious. While maintaining the spirit of the Mini, it is now more family-friendly.<\/p>\n<h3>Features<\/h3>\n<p>Countryman C is full of features. Highlights include 360-degree Parking Assistant Plus, head-up display, Harman Kardon sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology. Panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, multiple driving modes and premium materials elevate the user experience. The infotainment system is intuitive and gives quick responses. Due to local assembly, availability of features and updates will be easy.<\/p>\n<h3>Safety<\/h3>\n<p>Mini has left no stone unturned regarding safety. Advanced airbags, ABS, EBD, stability control and 360-degree camera are standard. Parking assistant and other ADAS features make driving safe. High safety standards have been maintained in the local model also.<\/p>\n<h3>Engine and Performance<\/h3>\n<p>The powertrain has a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which generates approximately 136 hp power and 230 Nm torque. There is a front-wheel drive setup with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). This engine is shared with BMW X1, which is smooth and responsive. 0-100 km\/h acceleration is good and highway cruising is easy.
