Hybrid cars offer the best combination of fuel efficiency, low running costs and reliable performance. Many major companies are going to launch hybrid variants in 2026, including Renault, Nissan and Maruti Suzuki.<\/p>\n<p>These models will prove to be perfect not only for daily commuting but also for long drives. Models like Renault Duster Hybrid, Nissan Tekton Hybrid and Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid are going to create new debates in the market. These cars are going to attract customers with modern technology, stylish design and better mileage. Let us take a look at the details revealed so far about these upcoming cars.<\/p>\n<h2>Renault Duster Hybrid<\/h2>\n<p>The new generation Renault Duster is already available in the market in 2026 and its strong hybrid variant is going to be launched around Diwali 2026. It will use a combination of 1.8-litre petrol engine with a 1.4 kWh battery pack and two electric motors, which will give a total power of around 160-163 PS. With an 8-speed dual clutch transmission, this SUV can run up to 80% in electric mode in the city and is expected to offer a mileage of more than 25 kmpl.<\/p>\n<p>With features like dual 10-inch screens, ADAS features, panoramic sunroof and 212 mm ground clearance, it will compete with vehicles like Creta and Seltos. The price is likely to be between Rs 19-23 lakh. The hybrid variant has already sold out in bookings, which shows its popularity.<\/p>\n<h3>Nissan Tekton Hybrid<\/h3>\n<p>Nissan Tecton is a new compact\/mid-size SUV, which will be based on the Renault Duster platform and is expected to be launched in mid-2026 (around July). It will also be provided with a 1.8-litre strong hybrid system, which will give a good balance of efficiency and performance. The design will have a modern LED light bar, bold SUV silhouette and premium interior.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the 1.0 liter and 1.3 liter turbo petrol engines, the hybrid variant will be attractive for mileage-conscious buyers. Tecton will enter the market strongly in the competition between Creta, Duster and Seltos. Its estimated price can be kept between Rs 11-18 lakh. For Nissan, this is part of the product offensive in India and will also be made for the global market.<\/p>\n<h3>Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid<\/h3>\n<p>The hybrid variant of Maruti Suzuki Front is going to be launched in 2026-27, in which the company&#8217;s new series hybrid system will be used. It will be a combination of electric motor and battery with Z12E or similar 1.0-1.2L engine, which can give a mileage of more than 35 kmpl. The Front is already a popular crossover SUV and the hybrid version will get ADAS, updated features and better interiors.<\/p>\n<p>Its estimated price will be Rs 8-12 lakh, which can make it the most affordable hybrid option in the segment. Strengthening Maruti&#8217;s hybrid portfolio, this model will be suitable for both city traffic and long drives.
