The GIFT NIFTY futures suggest that the NIFTY50 index will open 101 points higher.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-6 flex h-[71px] w-full shrink-0 items-center justify-between rounded-lg p-4 ipad:my-8 ipad:h-[104px] ipad:p-6\" style=\"background:linear-gradient(93deg, var(--Surface-surface-secondary, #61399F) 0.56%, var(--Color-Grey-900, #101010) 99.72%)\">\n<div class=\"max-w-[183px] text-sm  font-semibold text-white ipad:max-w-[297px]  ipad:text-[20px] ipad:leading-[28px]\">Open<!-- --> <span class=\"relative inline-block\">FREE<svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" viewbox=\"0 0 49 3\" fill=\"none\" class=\"absolute -bottom-[5px] left-0 h-[12px] w-[33px] text-white sm:w-full ipad:-bottom-[4px]\"><path d=\"M1 1H47.8481C48.0911 1 48.1238 1.35179 47.8849 1.39657L42 2.5\" stroke=\"white\" stroke-width=\"0.5\" stroke-linecap=\"round\"\/><\/svg><\/span> <!-- -->Demat Account within minutes!<\/div>\n<p><a class=\"flex !cursor-pointer items-center justify-center !rounded-[100px] bg-[#542087]  !px-6 !py-[11px]  text-[12px] !font-bold !leading-[18px] !text-white !no-underline transition-transform duration-200 ease-in-out hover:scale-95 hover:bg-[#3e176f] ipad:!px-[40px] ipad:!py-[12px] ipad:!text-[16px] ipad:!leading-[24px]\" href=\"https:\/\/upstox.com\/open-demat-account\/?landing_page=news_banner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Join now<\/a><\/div>\n<p><em>Here is a list of stocks that may remain in focus today<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NBCC<\/strong>: State-owned National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) has signed an MoU to construct a new Andhra Pradesh Bhawan in the national capital with a cost of \u20b9105 crore.<\/p>\n<p>The new Andhra Pradesh Bhavan will have a total built-up area of nearly 2.5 lakh sq ft.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement on Wednesday, the company said it has signed an MoU with the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the &#8220;planning, design, and construction&#8221; of the new Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi at an estimated project cost of \u20b9105.5 crore.<\/p>\n<p>The cost excludes GST and PMC (project management consultancy) charges.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL)<\/strong>: The company plans to invest \u20b96,000 crore to \u20b97,500 crore in capital expenditure over the next five years, Tata Group Chairman and Non-Executive Director N Chandrasekaran said.<\/p>\n<p>Responding to questions from shareholders at the Tata Group-owned IHCL&#8217;s annual general meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, he also shared that the flagship luxury property, Taj Bandstand, coming up in Mumbai, will span 50 floors and have 500 rooms, with a capex of around \u20b92,000 crore.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We hope it will be an iconic property,&#8221; Chandrasekaran said on the upcoming Taj Bandstand property.<\/p>\n<p>Laying out IHCL&#8217;s capex strategy to fuel expansion, he said, &#8220;Over the next five years, the company will spend as per the current plan, between \u20b96,000 crore and \u20b97,500 crore in terms of capex.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>IHCL is the country&#8217;s largest hospitality player.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACC, UltraTech, Ambuja Cements<\/strong>: Profitability of Indian cement manufacturers is likely to come under pressure in the first quarter of FY27 on account of a sharp increase in fuel, freight and other input costs, besides product price hikes by industry players, according to a report by India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra).<\/p>\n<p>The ratings agency said that operating costs and key raw materials, including pet coke, coal, diesel and packing materials, increased during the quarter, adversely impacting the sector&#8217;s margins.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The cement industry is likely to witness a decline in profitability in 1QFY27, given the increase in key input costs, including pet coke, coal, diesel, and packing material. While some price hikes were taken by industry players, it is unlikely to be sufficient to cover the increase in production costs,&#8221; it said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adani Energy Solutions<\/strong>: The company said the board has approved a proposal to raise funds by issuing equity shares with a face value of \u20b910 each and\/or other eligible securities. The fundraising will be for an aggregate amount of up to \u20b910,000 crore, or an equivalent amount, through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) or other permissible modes.<\/p>\n<p>The funds are likely to be raised in one or more tranches, subject to necessary approvals, including those from the company\u2019s shareholders and relevant regulatory or statutory authorities, Adani Energy said.<\/p>\n<p>The company will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Saturday, July 25, 2026, to seek shareholders\u2019 approval for the proposed issuance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hero MotoCorp<\/strong>: Two-wheeler market leader Hero MotoCorp will invest \u20b93,200 crore in Andhra Pradesh in the next three to five years to expand its operations in the state, including setting up a global parts centre and hiking production capacity at its Tirupati facility, according to its Executive Chairman Pawan Munjal.<\/p>\n<p>The company is setting up its second global parts centre (GPC 2.0) at Tirupati at an investment of Rs 750 crore that will also help in enhancing its accessories and merchandise business besides augmenting supplies of parts in other global markets, Munjal said in a select media interaction.<\/p>\n<p>The foundation stone for its GPC at Tirupati was laid on Wednesday. This will be the company&#8217;s second GPC after its first GPC at Neemrana in Rajasthan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tata Technologies<\/strong>: Product engineering and digital solution provider Tata Technologies on Wednesday announced expanding partnership with global automotive component manufacturer Tenneco, which is expected to invest $100 million in this engagement over the next five years.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement was signed on June 30 at the Tata Group&#8217;s headquarters in the financial capital, and the two partners reaffirmed their commitment to advancing technical excellence, digital innovation, and long-term growth, Tata Technologies said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The collaboration also reflects a long-term strategic commitment, with Tenneco expected to make an investment of over USD 100 million in this engagement over the next five years,&#8221; the statement said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coal India (CIL)<\/strong>: State-owned CIL on Wednesday said it has bagged an order estimated at \u20b92,831.11 crore to construct a 600 MW solar power plant in Uttar Pradesh.<\/p>\n<p>The project has been awarded to CIL by Bundelkhand Saur Urja Ltd &#8212; a joint venture of NHPC Ltd and Uttar Pradesh New &amp; Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA).<\/p>\n<p>The solar power plant will be set up in Jalaun Solar Park in Uttar Pradesh, Coal India Ltd (CIL) said in a filing to the BSE.<\/p>\n<p>The project, which comprises two 300 MW units, with electricity supplied at \u20b92.73 per kWh, will be executed within 18 months from the signing of the power purchase pact, the filing said.<\/p>\n<p>Coal India accounts for over 80% of the country&#8217;s coal output.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JSW Infrastructure<\/strong>: JSW Infrastructure on Wednesday said it has raised \u20b97,503 crore through a qualified institutional placement.<\/p>\n<p>The QIP comprised a primary issuance of securities worth \u20b96,555 crore, with the balance being raised through an offer-for-sale (OFS) by the promoter selling shareholder, JSW Infrastructure said in a regulatory filing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJSW Infrastructure has successfully completed a landmark \u20b97,503 crore Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP), marking the first transaction in India to combine a primary issuance and an offer-for-sale by a promoter selling shareholder within a single QIP structure,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction enabled the company to raise growth capital to support its \u20b939,000 crore multi-year capital expenditure programme, facilitate compliance with minimum public shareholding requirements and significantly broaden its institutional shareholder base through the induction of several marquee global and domestic investors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>V-Mart Retail<\/strong>: Shares of V-Mart Retail are expected to be in the spotlight on Thursday, July 2, as it reported its business update for the first quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27).<\/p>\n<p>According to a regulatory filing dated July 1, the company\u2019s total revenue from operations during the quarter under review stood at \u20b91,089 crore, marking a 23% year-on-year (YoY) growth from \u20b9885 crore in the April-June quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q1 FY26).<\/p>\n<p>It recorded over a 9% YoY increase in its same-store sales growth (SSSG) in the June quarter of FY27, with V-Mart at over 8% and Unlimited at more than 13%.<\/p>\n<p>During Q1 FY27, the company opened 15 stores and closed one store, resulting in a total operating portfolio of 591 stores as of June 30, 2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IT stocks<\/strong>: Wipro, Infosys, and other IT stocks will be in focus. Wipro&#8217;s ADR in the overnight US trade ended nearly 17% lower at $1.8700. However, Infosys ADR ended higher at \u20b9$10.65, up 1.53%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JTL Industries<\/strong>: The company on Wednesday announced its quarterly business performance for Q1 FY27. It said that the company has achieved a quarterly sales volume of 1,18,513 MT in Q1 FY27, with 1,08,406 MT in Q1 FY26 and 1,23,262 MT in Q4 FY26, reflecting a 18% YoY growth, driven by robust demand and improved capacity utilization.<\/p>\n<p><strong>V2 Retail<\/strong>: The company shared its business update for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
