Sourav Ganguly, Anjum Chopra and Kevin Pietersen were inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026 at a ceremony in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

Their induction took the total number of ICC Hall of Fame members to 125, with the honour recognising former players whose achievements and influence have shaped cricket\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am delighted to welcome the latest inductees into the ICC Hall of Fame, a tribute to the extraordinary individuals whose achievements have contributed greatly to our sport,\u201d ICC chairman Jay Shah said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSourav, Anjum and Kevin have all led their national teams with pride, and I would like to congratulate them on behalf of the ICC for this richly deserved honour.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ganguly, known for his elegant strokeplay through the offside, began his Test career with centuries in his first two innings and went on to become one of India\u2019s most influential captains. He led India to the 2003 ODI World Cup final and the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy joint title. He finished with 7212 runs in 113 Tests and 11363 runs in 311 ODIs.<\/p>\n

Anjum, a stylish left-hander and former India captain, was the first Indian woman cricketer to score 1000 ODI runs and the first to play 100 ODIs. She captained India to an overseas Test win in South Africa in 2002 and scored 2856 ODI runs.<\/p>\n

Pietersen was one of England\u2019s most flamboyant batters and played a key role in the 2005 Ashes triumph. He was also Player of the Tournament when England won the 2010 T20 World Cup. He scored 8181 runs in 104 Tests, 4440 in 136 ODIs and 1176 in 37 T20Is.<\/p>\n
