England might have lost the historic maiden women\u2019s Test at Lord\u2019s against India by a massive 270 runs but another story from the match had gotten viral on the internet.<\/p>\n

Towards the end of the four-day Test, England pacer Issy Wong was seen completing a Rubik\u2019s Cube, and celebrating finishing it. Her reaction copped flak from sections of English fans as the host was moving towards an embarassing defeat.<\/p>\n

But in a light-hearted discussion on the Tailenders <\/i>podcast, she revealed how the whole viral moment involved interaction with a young fan.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was the next batter and I had all this nervous energy. Alice Capsey looked at me and asked \u2018You all right?\u2019. And I asked \u2018do you have a Rubik\u2019s Cube on you?\u2019 She\u2019s like \u2018yeah, yeah, I have one in my bag\u2019,\u201d Wong began narrating.<\/p>\n

\u201cI found that when I was doing something, it calmed me down a lot. I\u2019ve been doing it for 5-10 overs, and the heart rate\u2019s back to 150. It was somewhere near 180,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

\u201cAcross the balcony at Lord\u2019s, where the members sit, there\u2019s this kid sitting in the corner called Alex and he starts waving at me. I was like \u2018you\u2019re behind the bowler\u2019s arms, stop waving\u2019. I was wondering what he was waving at. It was his Rubik\u2019s Cube. He asks me \u2018do you want to race?\u2019 I said that I\u2019d love to but we\u2019d have wait till drinks because I\u2019m in next, Wong went on.<\/p>\n

Then the boy threw the Cube over, the former Mumbai Indians bowler said. Fellow pacer Lauren Filer scrambled it and threw it back. It was England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt who was their \u201cindependent adjudicator\u201d as she gave them a 3, 2, 1 countdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cI beat him,\u201d Wong smiled. \u201cAnd he had a deal that if he won, he would get a shirt. If I won, I would get his signature. One of the girls said that I should give him a shirt anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n

A comical visual followed. When she tried to throw it over, the \u201cbiggest gust of wind\u201d delayed the exchange as the shirt fell down into one of the stands below the balconies. And it was England head coach Charlotte Edwards, present there, who had scoop the shirt and return it.<\/p>\n

Wong bowled a combined 26 overs and took two wickets, including that of Smriti Mandhana in the first innings, in the match.<\/p>\n
