The Korean star, who has been in front since the 18-hole mark, held a five-shot lead overnight and produced a round of 71 (-1) on day three.<\/p>\n<p><i>-PTI<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>Jeev and Jyoti struggle at Senior Open golf<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Jeev Milkha Singh endured another difficult day, carding a three-over 73 in third round to lie Tied-65th at the ISPS Handa Senior Open Championship in Perthshire, Scotland on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Jyoti Randhawa, the other Indian veteran on the field this week, also had a difficult third day that saw him card 7-over 77 and fell to the last position among those who made the cut.<\/p>\n<p>He is 79th on the leaderboard with a total score of 12-over par (72-73-77).<\/p>\n<p>Jeev, who carded 67 and 78 on the first two days, was unable to capture the high of his opening round but his 73 helped gain back five positions on the leaderboard with a total score of 8-over par.<\/p>\n<p>Jerry Kelly and Cameroon Percy lead the field heading into the final round. The lead duo have a three day score of 8-under par. The lead group has a three shot buffer over their closest rival Peter Baker, who is at 5-under par (69-69-67) with one round left to play.<\/p>\n<p><i>-PTI<\/i><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"sub_head\">MOTORSPORTS<\/h4>\n<p><b>De Vries wins dramatic Tokyo E-Prix as Mahindra closes on top three<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Nyck de Vries mastered changing wet-dry conditions to win Sunday\u2019s Tokyo E-Prix, securing his second victory of the 2025-26 FIA Formula E World Championship season and the sixth of his Formula E career as Mahindra Racing collected 38 points across the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>De Vries started fifth on the grid after teammate Edoardo Mortara claimed his fourth pole position of the season, equalling the record for the most poles in a single Formula E campaign.<\/p>\n<p>The result lifts de Vries to ninth in the drivers\u2019 standings, while Mortara remains fifth.<\/p>\n<p>Mahindra Racing leaves Tokyo with 210 points, just one behind third-placed Andretti in the teams\u2019 championship with two rounds remaining in the season, scheduled in London on August 15-16.<\/p>\n<p><i>-PTI<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>Formula 2 &#8211; Maini finishes second after VSC setback in Hungary<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Kush Maini finished second in Sunday\u2019s FIA Formula 2 Feature Race at the Hungaroring in Hungary, securing his third podium of the 2026 season after an ill-timed Virtual Safety Car compromised his chances of victory.<\/p>\n<p>Maini, competing in his fourth Formula 2 season, made a strong start to the weekend by taking pole position in Friday\u2019s qualifying session.<\/p>\n<p>The reverse-grid format for Saturday\u2019s Sprint Race placed him 10th on the grid. He gained five positions on the opening lap and went on to finish fifth, collecting four championship points.<\/p>\n<p>Starting from pole in Sunday\u2019s Feature Race, Maini retained the lead at the start and built a gap of around five seconds before the mandatory pit window.<\/p>\n<p>However, the deployment of the Virtual Safety Car during the pit sequence cost him the advantage he had established and dropped him behind the eventual race winner.<\/p>\n<p>Maini recovered to finish second, crossing the line just 0.8 seconds behind the winner.<\/p>\n<p><i>-PTI<\/i><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"sub_head\">CRICKET<\/h4>\n<p><b>Pondicherry Premier League \u2014 Villianur defends its crown, beats Mahe by 51 runs<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Left-hander P.
