India is now not only making electric vehicles for its own country, but is also becoming a big car factory for the whole world. Recently revealed figures have proved that the Indian automobile sector is now taking a new flight.<\/p>\n

If we talk about export of cars, India has achieved great success this year. According to the latest data of the auto industry, the export of electric cars from India has increased by almost 14 times between the first quarter of the current financial year i.e. between April and June this year. Between April and June last year, India sold only 1,122 electric cars abroad. But this year this number has directly reached 15,600 units. That means, within just one year, the demand for our cars in foreign markets has increased so rapidly that we are sending 14 times more cars abroad.<\/p>\n

The biggest ‘hero’ of this success<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now you must be wondering what happened suddenly that foreigners started liking Indian electric cars so much? The biggest name behind this entire success is Maruti Suzuki. The new electric car e Vitara of this famous company of the country has created a stir in the foreign markets. Out of the total 15,600 exported cars, about 15,200 cars are only Maruti’s e-Vitara. This means that the biggest credit for the entire success of India’s exports goes to this one car. This car has now come straight to third place in the list of most exported cars from India.<\/p>\n

Indian cars running on the roads of 47 countries<\/strong><\/p>\n

The success of this E-Vitara car of Maruti is not limited to just one or two countries. The company has sent this fantastic electric car to 47 different countries of the world. These include many big countries of Europe, countries of Asia and markets of Africa. This is a sure proof that people all over the world are completely trusting the things made in India. When an Indian car runs on the roads of 47 countries, it sends the message that India’s technology, design and safety are no less than any big company in the world. This is a huge victory for our ‘Make in India’ initiative.<\/p>\n

Big preparations by other Indian companies<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even though Maruti Suzuki’s name is at the top in this huge export figure, but other Indian companies are also not lagging behind. The leading automobile manufacturing companies of our country, such as Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra are also preparing strongly for this race. Tata Motors is number one in terms of electric cars in the Indian domestic market. Now both Tata and Mahindra companies are working rapidly to launch their new electric cars in foreign markets. When the vehicles of these two companies will also start being sold abroad in the coming months, this figure will increase manifold.<\/p>\n

Why are foreign companies coming to India?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To meet the global demand, foreign companies are also preferring to make cars in India. There are many simple reasons for this. First, making cars in India is much cheaper than in America or Europe. Second, skilled engineers and laborers are easily available to work here. Thirdly, the Government of India is also giving many types of relaxations and help to the industries. There are many companies manufacturing vehicle parts in India. For all these reasons, big automobile companies around the world are looking at India not just as a market but as a big ‘centre’ for manufacturing their goods and selling them abroad.<\/p>\n

5 features of Maruti e-Vitara<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Battery pack and powerful motor<\/strong>
    In Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara, customers get the option of two great battery packs. The first is a 49 kWh and the second is a 61 kWh LFP (Lithium Ferro Phosphate) blade-cell battery pack, which has been sourced from the reputed company BYD. This battery pack combined with the electric motor is capable of generating a maximum power of up to 172 bhp and a strong torque of 193 Nm. Its powerful electric powertrain provides a smooth and silent driving experience from heavy city traffic to long highway journeys, making it the most unique electric SUV in the segment.<\/li>\n
  2. Great and long driving range<\/strong>
    The biggest concern in electric vehicles is driving range, but Maruti e-Vitara has given a great solution to this problem. With its large 61 kWh battery pack, you get an impressive ARAI-certified range of up to 543 km on a full charge. At the same time, with its small battery pack of 49 kWh, a certified range of up to 440 kilometers has been claimed. This simply means that if you fully charge this electric car once, you can easily go on a long journey without any ‘range anxiety’.<\/li>\n
  3. Superfast charging facility<\/strong>
    In today’s time, the charging speed of any electric car matters a lot. Maruti Suzuki has taken special care of this in its e-Vitara. This car fully supports DC fast charging. If you use a 70kW DC fast charger, it takes only 45 minutes to charge the battery from 10 percent to 80 percent. Whereas, if you use a 7.4kW AC charger at home, it takes about 9 hours to get fully charged (10-100%), which is perfect and very convenient for overnight charging.<\/li>\n
  4. Premium and hi-tech interior<\/strong>
    The interior of Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara makes you feel like a very premium and futuristic car. Its cabin is decorated with a beautiful dual-tone (black and tan brown) theme. The biggest attraction is its ‘Integrated Display System’, which combines a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. Apart from this, elements like floating center console, two-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting and piano black finish not only make its interiors very attractive but also give the best experience of a luxury cabin to both the driver and passengers.<\/li>\n
  5. Amazing connected car tech and entertainment
    <\/strong>In terms of entertainment and connectivity, this electric SUV is no less than anyone. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is supported in e-Vitara. For music lovers, it has been fitted with an 8-speaker premium sound system from Infinity by Harman, which gives excellent audio quality. Apart from this, it also features a wireless phone charging pad and ‘Suzuki Connect’ app. Through this smart app, you can turn on the car’s AC, lock-unlock the doors and get important information like the battery or range of the car on your phone sitting at home.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n
