Hero MotoCorp’s electric brand Vida has crossed the milestone of sales of 1,02,097 units in India in the first six months of the calendar year 2026. Monthly sales, which started from 13,830 units in January, have increased to 20,416 units in June. After crossing the 20,000 mark with 20,130 units in May, further improvement was seen in June. With the continuously increasing demand in the domestic market, the company is now expanding its work in the foreign market also.<\/p>\n

Hero Vida has now chosen its first overseas market by launching in Nepal. Vida VX2 EVOOTER and DIRT.E K3 have been introduced in partnership with Chaudhary Group’s CG Motors. This step can prove important in strengthening Hero’s export business and creating a global presence in electric mobility.<\/p>\n

Vida India sales: Cross 1 lakh in H1 2026<\/h2>\n

Vida has sold a total of 1,02,097 electric scooters in India during January-June 2026. Sales showed continuous improvement. 13,830 units were sold in January, which continued to increase gradually. Monthly volume has crossed 20,000 with 20,130 units in May and 20,416 units in June. This performance in the domestic market gives Hero a strong base to send Vida abroad.<\/p>\n

Vida launch in Nepal and model details<\/h3>\n

Hero MotoCorp has chosen Vida as its first international market by launching Vida in Nepal. Nepal’s Chaudhary Group has partnered with CG Motors for sales and distribution. Hero has already been selling motorcycles and scooters in Nepal since 2014, so this expansion is based on the existing footprint.<\/p>\n

Models introduced in Nepal<\/h3>\n

Vida VX2 Plus:<\/strong> Two removable 2.2 kWh batteries (total 4.4 kWh). Claimed real-world range 140 km, top speed 90 km\/h. 0-40 km\/h in 3.1 seconds. 0-80% charge in 65 minutes with DC fast charging.<\/p>\n

Vida VX2 Go:<\/strong> Single 2.2 kWh removable battery. Claimed range 75 km, top speed 70 km\/hr.
Both variants support home charging (5A socket) and offer connected features like navigation, geo-fencing, OTA updates with call alerts.<\/p>\n

Vida Dirt.ie K3:<\/strong> Electric off-roader for young riders (especially 4-10 years). 350W motor and 360Wh removable battery. Riding for three hours depending on the terrain and mode. Speed \u200b\u200band acceleration can be limited with app-based parental controls.<\/p>\n
