The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/samsung_galaxy_z_fold_wide_5g-14673.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Galaxy Z Fold8<\/a> is the foldable most of you would get, but there\u2019s another consensus across your votes. Samsung\u2019s new foldables are too expensive.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/fdn.gsmarena.com\/imgroot\/news\/26\/07\/weekly-poll-results-z-fold8\/inline\/-1200\/gsmarena_001.jpg\" alt=\"Weekly poll results: Galaxy Z Fold8 excites, but its price tag is a deterrent  \"\/><\/p>\n<p>With a starting price of $1,900 for the 256GB storage trim, the Fold8 is a big investment. The same applies to the Z Fold8 Ultra, which is an even steeper $2,100. The Z Flip8 is the more \u201caffordable\u201d entry out of the three, but it\u2019s not exactly cheap at $1,200.<\/p>\n<h4>Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8<\/h4>\n<p>As with past Samsung flagship launches, prices should come down in the coming months, which should make the Z8 series more enticing. The shorter and wider aspect makes a lot of sense for daily use cases, especially on the cover screen. Consuming media on the 4:3 inner screen is also a better experience than the squarish Z Fold8 Ultra and all of Samsung\u2019s past big-screen folds in both landscape and portrait view.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"799\" alt=\"Fold8 Ultra (right) Fold8 (left)\" src=\"https:\/\/fdn.gsmarena.com\/imgroot\/news\/26\/07\/weekly-poll-results-z-fold8\/inline\/-1200w5\/gsmarena_005.jpg\"\/><br \/>\n<span><strong>Z Fold8 Ultra (left) \u2022 Z Fold8 (right)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Fold8 is thin and light, which makes it feel exceptionally good in day-to-day use. The software is polished, and Samsung\u2019s DeX makes this a viable laptop alternative in crunch situations.<\/p>\n<p>Honestly, the Fold8\u2019s main weak point is the cameras, where an extra telephoto sensor would make this a much more appealing package. We could say the same about a larger battery, but there\u2019s always next year.
