Timings of Puducherry trains change in revised time table

The timings of several trains operating through Puducherry and Villupuram will change as per the new time table of the Tiruchchirappalli Division of Southern Railway that takes effect on January 1, 2026 aimed at faster and smoother operations.

Accordingly, the departures of Train No 16574 Puducherry –Yesvantpur Express has been changed from 10.30 pm to 10.25 pm; No 16861 Puducherry –Kanniyakumari Express from 1 pm to 1.10 pm; 66064 Puducherry- Villupuram MEMU from 8.05 am to 7.50 am; 17654 Puducherry –Kacheguda Express from 1 pm to 12.45 pm; 16112 Puducherry- Tirupati MEMU from 3 pm to 2.50 pm and the 66052 Puducherry –Chennai Egmore MEMU from 4 pm to 3.35 pm.

The departure of Train No 56111 Villupuram –Tiruchchirappalli MEMU has been changed from 5.10 am to 4.55 am; 16867 Villupuram- Dindigul Express from 4.55 pm to 4.30 pm; 66056 Villupuram-Tambaram MEMU 5.20 am to 5.10 am; 66046 Villupuram-Chennai Beach MEMU from 1.40 pm to 1.30 pm.

Train No 16231 Cuddalore Port -Mysore Express will leave at 4.30 pm instead of 3.40 pm and 76813 Cuddalore Port –Salem DEMU at 4.45 am instead of 5 am.

The departure timings in Puducherry has been changed for 12867 Howrah- Puducherry Superfast Express from 7.45 am to 8.30 am; 16111 Tirupati-Puducherry MEMU Express from 12.25 pm to 12.35 pm; 22404 New Delhi –Puducherry Superfast Express from 1.20 pm to 1.35 pm.

The timings at Villupuram Jn has been changed for 56814 Mayiladuthurai –Villupuram Passenger from 9..40 pm to 9.35 pm; 66064 Puducherry –Villupuram MEMU from 8.55 am to 8.40 am and 66045 Tambaram-Villupuram MEMU from 1.20 pm to 1.10 pm

The departure timing 16232 Mysore -Cuddalore Port Express has been changed to 8.35 am instead of 8.40 am and 76814 Salem -Cuddalore Port DEMU to 10.50 pm instead of 10.40 pm

The revised departure of Train No 56818 Tiruchchirappalli – Karaikkal Passenger at Karaikal is 10.55 am instead of 10.50 am, the Southern Railway said.
