The company added that the model’s customer base has grown steadily, delivering a compounded annual growth rate of more than 9% between 2016 and 2025.
Hyundai reported that the CRETA holds more than 34% market share in the mid-size SUV category. It is also the highest selling SUV of our country on a cumulative basis from 2020-2025.”
He added that first-time buyers have increased from 13% in 2020 to 32% in 2025, sunroof-equipped variants account for more than 70% of sales, and diesel powertrains contribute 44%.
Hyundai said the CRETA has been the highest-selling mid-size SUV in every completed year since launch.
It is sold with multiple powertrain and transmission options, including a 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine (manual and IVT), a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine (manual and automatic), a 1.5-litre turbo GDi petrol engine (manual and DCT), as well as an electric variant.
