Mahindra reveals XUV 7XO name for its next SUV ahead of January 2026 global premiere

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has revealed the name of its upcoming premium SUV as the XUV 7XO, marking the next addition to its SUV line-up. In regulatory filings, the company said the XUV 7XO will have its world premiere in January.Mahindra has also released promotional material across several social media platforms, including Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube and Facebook.
A name reveal video, titled “Hello Mahindra XUV 7XO”, which confirms that the world premiere is scheduled for January 5, 2026, and indicates that details on specifications and pricing will be announced at that time.

According to the company, the XUV 7XO is developed on the foundation of the XUV700, which was launched four years ago and has recorded sales of more than 3 lakh units.

Mahindra said the new model represents an evolution of the XUV700, with updates to design, technology, comfort and performance. The company added that the XUV 7XO is intended to build on the legacy of the XUV700 and reinforce Mahindra’s position in the segment.
