Nandini’s hat-trick, Devine’s sixes: All stats, records from DC vs GG WPL 2026 match

Gujarat Giants eked out a four-run win against Delhi Capitals in a Women’s Premier League 2026 match on Sunday at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

• Delhi Capitals’ Nandini Sharma became the fourth player to take a hat-trick in WPL history. She also became the first uncapped player and only the second Indian player to achieve the feat. She did so by removing Kanika Ahuja, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, and Renuka Singh in the 20th over.
• Gujarat Giants’ Sophie Devine equalised the joint-record for most sixes in an innings (8). This is the second time she’s smacking eight sixes, the first time being in 2023 against her current side when she was a RCB player. Ashleigh Gardner (vs RCB, 2025) and Chinelle Henry (vs DC, 2025) also hold the record.
• 337: Most runs aggregated by overseas batters in this WPL game. The previous most was 278 in the GG vs RCB match in Delhi, 2024.
• 32: DC’s Sneh Rana bowled WPL’s most expensive over after she conceded 32 runs.
• 122/1 by GG was the second-highest 10-over score by a team in WPL, only behind RCB’s 131/0 vs GG at the Brabourne in 2023.
• GG’s 80/0 was also the second-best PowerPlay score by a team in WPL. DC holds the highest; it scored 87/0 against GG in 2023.
