HP launches HyperX Omen 15 gaming laptop series in India

HP India on Sunday announced the launch of its HyperX Omen 15 gaming laptop series in India, marking its Republic Day debut in partnership with Flipkart and other retail channels. The new lineup is aimed at India’s growing gaming community, particularly users beyond Tier 1 cities, as the market expands from casual gaming to competitive esports.

The company said the launch builds on strong momentum in the gaming category during 2025, when HP and Flipkart reported sustained growth driven by rising demand for high performance devices. The HyperX Omen 15 series is positioned as an integrated gaming ecosystem, combining HP’s hardware engineering with HyperX’s gaming peripherals.

Performance-focused design

The HP HyperX Omen 15 series is powered by Intel Core i7-14650 HX processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, delivering up to 170W Total Graphics Power (TGP), which HP says enables desktop class gaming performance in a laptop form factor.

The laptops come with a 180Hz display offering up to 500 nits of brightness, aimed at delivering smoother visuals and sharper clarity, particularly during fast paced competitive gameplay. 

For esports focused users, HP has also introduced an 8K polling rate with a claimed response time of 0.125 milliseconds, designed to improve precision and responsiveness.

Thermal performance is managed through HP’s Omen Tempest Cooling system, which includes a self-cleaning fan mechanism to help minimise dust build-up during extended gaming sessions. The series also features a One Touch Omen AI function that automatically adjusts system settings to optimise performance based on usage patterns.

Pricing and availability

The HP HyperX Omen 15 series will be available from January 26, 2026, on Flipkart and across other retail channels, with prices starting at Rs.1,49,999/-.

To mark the launch, HP is offering introductory benefits including exchange bonuses of up to Rs.30,000/-, instant bank discounts of up to Rs.20,000/-, and no cost EMI options for up to 18 months. Select HyperX accessories will also be available at discounted prices during the launch period.
