Ranji Trophy 2025-26: KL Rahul scores crucial century for Karnataka against Mumbai
Rahul’s century came in 147 balls, and featured 13 boundaries as Karnataka attempted to chase 325 against Mumbai. This is Rahul’s 24th century in First-Class cricket.
The 33-year-old reached three figures with a boundary, turning Tanush Kotian around the corner for four. However, he barely acknowledged the milestone, only momentarily raising his bat to the dressing room before continuing his innings.
Rahul returned to the Karnataka Ranji side in its final group stage match against Punjab, scoring a first-innings half-century. He managed 28 in the first innings of this match before chipping Mohit Avasthi to cover as the side took a 53-run first innings.
Karnataka is seeking a spot in the semifinal, where it will host Uttarakhand in Bengaluru should it qualify.
