In the other final-eight contest, Chhattisgarh beat Mumbai by six wickets, chasing down the 180-run target with 13 balls left at the Ropar Cricket Ground in Rupnagar.
Wicketkeeper Pragya formed a solid 196-run partnership with Tanisha for the third wicket after Priya Punia and Deeksha fell in quick succession. Despite the middle-order failing to click on, Delhi managed to post a daunting 302 for seven on the board.
Maharashtra suffered two early jolts in the chase, and despite half-centuries from Mukta Magre, Vaishnavi Shinde and Shweta Mane, the team could only crawl to 246 for nine at the end of the innings.
Mumbai was bowled out for 180 within the 47th over, with Punam Raut top-scoring with 41. Aditi Panwar was the pick of the bowlers for Chhattisgarh, scalping three.
Opener Shrishti Sharma’s 75 set the side on its path to a comfortable win.
Railways and Karnataka will face each other in the third quarterfinal on Monday in Mohali. Andhra and Rajasthan will vie for the final semifinal spot.
