Madurai District Collector K.J. Praveen Kumar released the final electoral roll in presence of recognised political parties’ representatives.
Total voters in ten Assembly constituencies in Madurai district stood at 24,66,954 including 12,08,651 male voters, 12,58,051 female voters and 252 third gender voters.Assembly constituency-wise: Melur (2,27,789), Madurai East (3,30, 993), Sholavandan (2,12,502), Madurai North ( 2,18,719), Madurai South (1,77,605), Madurai Central (1,96,856), Madurai West ( 2,72,341), Thirruparankundram (3,07,783), Tirumangalam (2,59,225) and Usilampatti (2,64,141) — C.
