Apple’s cheapest iPhone launched with A19 chip, 48 MP camera, getting discount up to ₹ 23000

New Delhi. Apple has launched its new iPhone 17E in India and global markets on March 2, 2026. This is an upgraded version of the iPhone 16E that came last year. This time the company has changed the price along with the features. The special thing is that the company has doubled the base storage, due to which the competition in the mid-range smartphone segment can become more intense. However, the price has been increased by Rs 5 thousand, due to which its starting price has now become Rs 64,900.

By providing phones with more storage, the company is targeting those customers who do not want to change phones for a long time. Display and Design

iPhone 17E has a 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen. It has a 60 Hz refresh rate and the notch is still present in the design. Dynamic Island feature is provided only in iPhone 17 and Pro models.

Processor and performance

Apple’s new A19 chip is provided in the phone which is based on 3 nanometer technology. Along with giving fast performance, it also enables the phone to have AI features i.e. Apple Intelligence. It has been claimed to improve performance from everyday work to gaming.

There is a 48-megapixel fusion camera at the back, which supports 2 times optical quality zoom. There is a 12 megapixel front camera for selfie and video calls.

This time the storage starts from 256 GB, which is double than before. 512 GB option will also be available. The phone has 8 GB RAM.

For the first time, MagSafe support has been provided in iPhone 17E, which can provide wireless charging of 15 to 25 watts. Besides, USB C port is also present in it. For better 5G speed and less battery consumption, the company has given its new C1X modem.

This phone will be available in black, white and soft pink colors. Pre-orders will start from March 4 and it will start being available in stores from March 11, 2026.
