Samson, who scored 321 runs in the tournament, including three consecutive fifties, climbed 18 spots among batters, from 40 to 22, after his performance earned him the Player of the Series Award in the World Cup.
Meanwhile, Kishan, who amassed 317 runs in the World Cup, climbed two spots to second in the rankings, below compatriot Abhishek Sharma, who retained the top spot.
