Suryakumar on Tuesday received a grand welcome upon his arrival in Mumbai as fans gathered in huge numbers at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to greet the skipper. Dube, meanwhile, made the journey back to Mumbai with his wife Anjum and friend, having taken the Sayaji Express from Ahmedabad, Indian Express reported.
Suryakumar finished the tournament with 242 runs—the third most in the team—at an average of 30.25 and a strike rate of 136.72. Dube contributed with runs in the death to hand India strong finishes. He scored 227 runs and took five wickets. He was also named Player of the Match for his 66 & 2/35 against the Netherlands.
