Xiaomi 17T series launched in May, powerful battery and powerful features.

Xiaomi may make a big change in the launch schedule of its T-series smartphones this year. Till now the company has been launching its T-series every year in the month of September. For example, Xiaomi 15T was launched in September 2025 and Xiaomi 14T in September 2024.

But according to a new leak, the Xiaomi 17T series may be launched this time about four months before the scheduled time. If this news proves to be true, then the phone can be introduced around the month of May. This will be quite different from Xiaomi’s previous launch pattern.

Which models will come?
According to the report, this series may include two models:

1. Xiaomi 17T
2. Xiaomi 17T Pro

The model number of Xiaomi 17T is said to be 2602DPT53G and its codename may be ‘Chagall’. Whereas the model number of Xiaomi 17T Pro is 2602EPTC0G and its codename is ‘Warhol’.

Processor and performance
According to the leak, MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset can be given in Xiaomi 17T. Whereas a more powerful Dimensity 9500 processor can be found in the Pro variant. With this, both the phones are expected to get better speed and smoother performance.

Battery and features
It has been said in the report that this time special attention has been paid to the battery. Especially Xiaomi 17T Pro can get a large battery of 8,500mAh and 100W wired fast charging support. Apart from this, special features like P68 + IP69 rating and inbuilt cooling fan can also be available in it.

comparison to old model
For comparison, the starting price of the Xiaomi 15T series was GBP 549 (approximately ₹65,000). It had a 5,500mAh battery, Leica branded triple camera, IP68 rating and HyperOS 2. If the leak is true then Xiaomi 17T series can enter the market with a more powerful battery and better performance than before.
