Big upgrade in hardware
This time performance has also been taken seriously in the V-series. Vivo V70 Elite is considered to be the most powerful model of the lineup. It is said to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which is capable of providing flagship level speed and better AI capabilities.
Talking about the battery, the Elite variant is likely to have a large 6,500mAh battery and 90W fast charging support. Also, it can be offered with IP68 and IP69 rating, due to which it will provide better protection from dust and water.
The Elite model also looks special on the display front. It can have an OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. The flat screen and thin bezels make it attractive for watching videos and outdoor use.
The camera is said to be the biggest strength of this series. Vivo V70 Elite is expected to have a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP Zeiss branded telephoto lens, an ultra-wide camera and a 50MP front camera. 4K HDR video recording and AI based audio cleanup feature can also be provided, which can provide special benefit to video content creators.
At the same time, the standard Vivo V70 may also have a similar camera setup, although slight differences may be seen in some hardware specifications.
Both smartphones can run on OriginOS 6. The company may plan to provide four major Android updates and six years of security updates, which is indicative of long software support in this segment.
