The glory of Maruti Suzuki! Number-1 in terms of exports, Tata and Mahindra also included in the top-10 list

India is the third largest car market in the world. Cars made in the country are performing well in the Indian market as well as in the foreign markets. Recently, the export record for 11 months i.e. from April 2025 to February 2026 has come to light. A total of 8,13,919 units have been exported during this period.

This figure shows an annual increase of 19 percent compared to 6,83,732 units exported between April 2024 and February 2025. If we look at the records, Maruti Suzuki is also at first place in terms of exports. Apart from this, exports of Hyundai and Nissan have also increased. At the same time, exports of Volkswagen and Honda have decreased. Let us take a look at the export report.

Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki is at number one in terms of exports. From April 2025 to February 2026, the company has exported a total of 3,88,591 units. This figure shows an annual increase of 34 percent compared to 2,89,089 units sold from April 2024 to February 2025.

Hyundai

Hyundai is at second place in terms of exports. Between April 2025 and February 2026, the company has exported 1,76,185 units. This figure shows an annual increase of 19 percent as compared to 1,47,886 units exported in the same period last year.

Nissan

Nissan is at number three in the list. Between April 2025 and February 2026, they have exported a total of 76,427 units. This figure shows an annual increase of 22 percent as compared to 62,613 units exported in the same period last year.

volkswagen

In terms of exports, VW is at fourth place. Between April 2025 and February 2026, the company has exported a total of 37,659 units. This figure shows a decline of 15 percent on an annual basis as compared to 44,591 units shipped out in the same period last year.

Toyota

On the basis of excellent growth, Toyota has registered its name in the list of top-5 companies. In the last 11 months, Toyota has exported a total of 36,905 units. This figure represents an annual increase of 42 percent compared to 25,970 units exported between April 2024 and February 2025.

Apart from the top-5 companies mentioned above, between April 2025 and February 2026, Kia has exported 25,908 units, Honda 24,034 units, Mahindra 16,776 units, Renault 13,878 units, Tata 7,575 units, Citroen 5,743 units, Jeep 2,822 units and Skoda only 1,416 units.
