New Zealand completed the highest successful chase in women’s ODI cricket during the second one-day game against South Africa at the Basin Reserve in Wellington on Wednesday.
The White Ferns chased down a 347-run target with two balls to spare and two wickets in hand thanks to an unbeaten 179 off just 139 balls by NZ captain Amelia Kerr.
New Zealand went past India’s previously held record of 339 runs against Australia during the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025.
