It will mark Australia’s first tour of Zimbabwe since 2014, when it took part in a triangular series along with South Africa.
All three matches will take place in Harare, and will be directly before Australia’s multi-format tour of South Africa. The first ODI will be on September 15, followed by matches of September 18 and 20.
Zimbabwe won the last ODI between the two sides back in 2022, winning by three wickets in Townsville to secure a consolation victory in a three-match ODI series in Australia.
It also won the most recent meeting between the two sides at the T20 World Cup, surprising the 2021 champion by 23 runs.
Zimbabwe will co-host the 2027 ODI World Cup along with South Africa and Namibia, the first time the tournament will be played on African soil since 2003.
