1. Unique design and specifications
The C6 is inspired by the original Flying Flea of the 1930-40s, but has been completely redesigned. The most special feature is the forged aluminum girder fork front suspension, which comes with articulating mudguard. The old ‘rubber band’ style has been re-engineered in a modern way, providing better stability, controlled steering and a unique look. Magnesium battery covering is lightweight and perfect for heat dissipation. The design is a combination of sci-fi and retro.
2. Lightweight and powerful performance
With a weight of 124 kg, this is the lightest bike of Royal Enfield, which gives handling like a bicycle. The 15.4 kW (approx. 20.6 bhp) PMSM motor generates 60 Nm torque. Belt drive system ensures quiet and smooth riding. Drives smoothly both in the city and on the highway. Comfortable at speeds of 80-100 km/hr. 5 riding modes (Rain, City, Highway, Sport and Custom) allow customizing throttle response, zone and performance.
3. Battery, Range and Charging
There is a 3.91 kWh air-cooled lithium-ion battery pack, which gives 154 km range in IDC test. In real world, expect to get 100-110 km in the city and around 70-80 km on the highway. 20-80% charging takes just 60-65 minutes (with onboard charger), while a full charge takes 2 hours 16 minutes. Charging is easy with a regular 3-pin socket.
4. Advanced Safety and Connectivity Features
It has safety features like lean-sensitive dual channel ABS, traction control, cruise control and switchable rear ABS. The 3.5-inch round TFT touchscreen display shows speed, battery, navigation (Google Maps) and ride data. Features like call/SMS alert, music control, voice assist, wireless charging and remote lock/unlock are available through smartphone connectivity. There is also keyless ignition and removable pillion seat.
5. Budget-Friendly Electric Transition
The Flying Flea C6 brings the company into the electric era, but without losing its heritage. It will give performance comparable to 125-150cc ICE bikes, but with zero emissions and less maintenance. S6 Scrambler variant is also coming. After its launch in India, it could prove to be an attractive option for young riders and city commuters who want style, tech and sustainability.
