Mukul scored 173 runs from five innings at a strike-rate of 198.85 for Rajasthan in the last edition Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy after coming in as an injury replacement for Kartik Sharma.
On Thursday, Mukul announced himself on the IPL stage with a 27-ball 54 with two fours and seven sixes to lead his side a three-wicket win. His knock included a partnership of 54 from 24 balls for the eighth wicket with Avesh Khan to get the team over the line.
