FY26 EV 2W Sales: TVS number 1, Ola’s big decline, see full report

Amidst the ever increasing pollution and skyrocketing prices of petrol and diesel, people are shifting towards two-wheelers for daily commuting. The dominance of EV in this segment is increasing with time. Talking about the last financial year i.e. FY26, all the Electric 2W companies of the country together sold a total of 14,01,818 units.

This figure shows an impressive increase of 21.81 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 11,50,790 Electric 2W sold in FY25. If we look at the sales chart, TVS is at number. At the same time, there has been a huge increase in the sales of Bajaj and Ather. Apart from this, Ola has registered a significant decline on an annual basis. Let us take a look at the sales reports of different companies.

TVS

TVS is at number one in terms of sales. A total of 3,41,513 units were sold in the last financial year. This figure shows an impressive growth of 43.54 percent on an annual basis as compared to the total 2,37,929 units sold in FY25.

Bajaj

Bajaj is at second place in terms of sales. A total of 2,89,349 units have been sold in the financial year 2025-26. This figure represents a year-on-year increase of 25.17 percent against the total 2,31,172 units sold by Bajaj in FY25.

Ather

Ather is at number three in the list. In FY26 they sold a total of 2,39,178 new Electric 2W. This figure shows an impressive growth of 82.34 percent on an annual basis as compared to the total 1,31,172 units sold in FY25.

hail

Ola is at number four in terms of sales. In the last financial year they have sold a total of 1,64,295 units. This figure shows a huge decline of 52.28 percent on an annual basis as compared to the total 3,44,300 units sold in FY25.

Hero Vida

On the basis of excellent growth, Hero Vida has registered its name in the list of top-5 Electric 2W companies. A total of 1,44,330 units were sold in the last financial year. This figure represents an annual increase of 196 percent compared to the total 48,738 units sold in FY25.

Apart from the top-5 companies of EV two-wheeler segment mentioned above, last month 61,563 units of Greaves/Ampere, 26,201 units of Bgasuu, 22,354 units of River EV, 14,352 units of Pure EV, 12,582 units of E-Sprinto, 11,557 units of Kinetic Green, 10,444 units of Revolt, Simple 8214 units and a total of 55,886 units of other companies have been sold.
