Talking about the price, Flying Flea C6 has been launched for ₹ 2.79 lakh. If you choose Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, it becomes ₹ 1.99 lakh. There are two variants of Ola Roadster Pro. The 8 kWh battery is available for ₹1.99 lakh and the 16 kWh battery for ₹2.50 lakh. The Roadster Pro is slightly cheaper than the C6 in the base model, but the top variant is costlier. Let’s take a look at their design, battery, motor and range details.
design details
The Flying Flea C6 carries the classic DNA of Royal Enfield. Weighing 124 kg, this is RE’s lightest bike. The 1940’s style girder fork, finned magnesium battery casing, belt drive and sleek city rider look make it unique. It looks like a neo-classic urban commuter.
Ola Roadster Pro, on the other hand, is modern and sporty. Arrowhead/Sportster theme, USD forks, dual disc brakes and aggressive naked styling make it special. It looks like a high-speed performance bike. RE is better for retro lovers and Ola is better for young and sporty riders.
Features and Specifications
C6 has 5 ride modes (City, Rain, Highway, Sport + Custom). Regenerative braking, connectivity, onboard charger and IP rated battery are available. This is simple but practical. Roadster Pro is more advanced. It can be purchased with Hyper, Sport, Normal, Eco modes with ADAS (obstacle detection), cornering ABS, wheelie/stoppy control, 10-inch TFT screen, infotainment (games, streaming) and MoveOS updates. Battery, Motor and Range
The Flying Flea C6 is powered by a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion (air-cooled) battery, which powers a PMSM motor (15.4 kW/21 bhp, 60 Nm). IDC range is 154 km, top speed is 115 kmph and 0-60 kmph speed is completed in just 3.7 seconds. 0-100% charging takes 2 hours 16 minutes. 20-80% can be done in just 65 minutes. Real-world range is 100-110 km in the city.
Ola Roadster Pro has 8 kWh or 16 kWh battery option. The 52 kW (70 bhp) capacity motor installed in it gives 105 Nm torque. Range is 316 km and 579 km (IDC) respectively. Top speed is 154 kmph (8 kWh) or 194 kmph (16 kWh). It does 0-60 kmph in 1.9 seconds. The power and range of the Roadster Pro is much more than the C6.
Our advice: If you want classic looks, lightness, easy city riding and RE branding then Flying Flea C6 is better. It is easy to buy especially with the BaaS option. For long highway trips, race-like performance and long range, it is better to buy Ola Roadster Pro (especially 16 kWh).
