After the March 2026 update of Google Pixel, many users are facing bootloop problem. Know which models are affected and how it can be avoided.

Bad news for Pixel users, there is no definite solution yet
A serious problem has emerged in Google’s Google Pixel smartphones after the recent March 2026 update. Many users have complained that their phone is getting stuck in bootloop, i.e. the device is repeatedly restarting or just getting stuck on the ‘G’ logo, rendering the phone completely unusable.
According to reports, this problem is affecting many Pixel models, which include devices like Pixel 10, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. Users have complained about this problem on platforms like Reddit and Google Issue Tracker.
Some users say that their phone is not turning on at all, while many people’s devices are restarting again and again and freeze at the ‘G’ logo. In some cases, the phone automatically goes into Recovery Mode and shows an error message like ‘Android system corrupted’.
Google has officially accepted this problem and said that its engineering team is working on it. The company has also contacted the affected users and assured to provide a solution soon.
What to do if your Pixel gets stuck in bootloop?
Google suggests contacting Pixel Support immediately in such cases. However, some users have also suggested a temporary solution that may work.
- Connect the phone to the charger and leave it for 30-40 minutes
- Then try to turn on the phone in Safe Mode
- press power button
- As soon as the Google logo appears, immediately press and hold both the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons simultaneously.
- After booting, ‘Safe Mode’ will appear on the screen.
- This method has worked for some users, but it is not guaranteed to be successful in every case.
to bear in mind
At present there is no definite solution to this problem. Some users resorted to factory reset, but that also does not work every time. So until Google releases an official fix, it is important to exercise caution.
