Learn the easy way to identify and remove it.

Android users beware! This malware can silently take complete control of your mobile.
A new and very dangerous cyber threat has emerged for Android users, which is being called ‘Android God Mode Malware’. Government cyber security agencies have issued a warning regarding this virus. After entering the phone, this malware can take almost complete control of the phone and the user is not even aware of it.
This dangerous virus disguises itself as a banking app, utility tool, customer support app or government service app. Many times it reaches the phone through WhatsApp APK file or phishing link with names like SBI YONO, RTO Challan App or Digital Certificate Service. The malware becomes active as soon as the user installs it and grants accessibility permissions.
After this he can see every activity happening on the phone screen. It can read SMS, steal OTP, make calls, access contacts and even trigger the camera in the background. In banking apps, it deceives the user by showing a fake screen, due to which bank details and passwords can be stolen.
If any app in your phone is repeatedly asking for accessibility permissions, is making itself the default launcher, is hidden without an icon, is suddenly sending SMS or is turning on call forwarding automatically, then be careful. This could be a sign of Android God Mode Malware.\
How to keep yourself safe?
To remove this, first start the phone in Safe Mode. This stops third party apps. Then go to Settings and search for suspicious apps and uninstall them. After this set the default launcher back to the system launcher.
Then go to Accessibility Settings and Device Admin Permissions and turn off any unknown services. Users can also stop call forwarding by dialing ##002#. After this, restart the phone and check whether the problem is resolved or not.
If the malware is still not being removed, then Factory Reset may be the last option. Android users should always download apps only from trusted sources.
