Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will be looking to secure a crucial victory when they meet at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday, April 23. 

The two sides faced off in the same fixture in 2025, with MI coming out on top by nine wickets. 

After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, Mitchell Santner and Jasprit Bumrah starred as the host restricted CSK to 176 for five in its innings. Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dube both scored half-centuries, but it would prove vastly insufficient as MI chased the total down with ease.

Rohit Sharma top-scored with an unbeaten 76 from 45 deliveries while Suryakumar Yadav was also in scintillating form as he scored 68 not out from just 30 balls.
