Volkswagen Taigun Facelift and Tata Sierra come with different appeals in the Indian SUV market. Taigun gets 5-star safety rating with 6 airbags, ESC and strong body. Sierra also has 6 airbags, but it comes with advanced safety features like 360° camera and level-2 ADAS, which make it safer.

Engine and Mileage

Taigun is available in 1.0 liter (115 PS) and 1.5 liter (150 PS) turbo petrol engines. Sierra has more options. It can be bought with 1.5 liter NA petrol, 1.5 liter turbo petrol (up to 160PS) and 1.5 liter diesel engine. Both are good in terms of performance, but Sierra offers more variety. The mileage of both is around 15-18 KMPL.

Who is better: If you want driving fun, compact size and better handling then Taigun is better. But if you want space, features and a family-friendly SUV, the Tata Sierra offers more value. The prices of both go up and down depending on the variant.
