EV Two-Wheeler Sales April 2026: TVS No. 1, Bajaj-Ather growth, Ola Electric sales fall

The demand for electric two-wheelers is increasing in the Indian car market. Was seen only in the first month of the financial year 2026-27. The country’s EV two-wheeler companies sold a total of 148,677 units last month. This figure is the second highest sales record till date after 192,000 units sold in March 2026.

If we look at the sales report, TVS was the company that sold the most electric two-wheelers last month. Apart from this, the power of Bajaj Auto and Ather Energy increased. At the same time, Ola Electric was the only company which faced annual decline. Let us take a look at the company wise top-10 report.

TVS Motor

TVS is at number one in terms of sales. A total of 37,661 units were sold last month. This figure represents a spectacular increase of 96 percent on an annual basis as compared to the total 19,176 units sold in April 2025. The credit for the success of TVS goes to iQube.

Bajaj Auto

Bajaj Auto is at number two in the list. A total of 32,883 units have been sold in April 2026. This figure shows an annual increase of 72 percent compared to the total 19,162 units sold in April 2025.

Ather Energy

Ather is at number three in terms of sales. A total of 27,024 units were sold last month. This figure shows an impressive increase of 103 percent on an annual basis as compared to 13,332 units sold in April 2025.

Hero Vida

Vida is at number four. In April 2026, it got a total of 15,230 new customers. This figure shows an impressive increase of 148 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 6150 units sold in April 2025.

Ola Electric

Despite decline in sales, Ola has retained itself in the top-5 list. Last month 12,166 people bought it. This figure shows a decline of 39 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 19,824 units sold in April 2025.

Apart from the top-5 companies of the segment mentioned above, last month 6884 units of Greaves Electric, 3198 units of River Mobility, 3065 units of Bgauss Auto, 1188 units of Simple Energy and only 1077 units of Bounce Electric were sold.
